Don't trust. Verify.

Vaultion is non-custodial: no company holds your funds, and no employee can move them. Instead of asking you to take that on faith, this page shows exactly what runs on-chain — the contracts that hold escrows, the arbitrator that settles disputes, and how to check every bit of it yourself.

Funds held by code, not by us

Every escrow is locked in an on-chain smart contract. Vaultion has no custody, no admin key to drain it, and no way to move your money outside the rules written into the contract.

Verifiable on a block explorer

The escrow contract source is published and verified on the explorer. You can read exactly what it does, and see the funds sitting in the contract, before you commit anything.

No account, no KYC to start

You interact from your own wallet. There is no Vaultion account holding a balance that could be frozen, and no identity onboarding standing between you and your funds.

The live contracts

These are the escrow contracts that hold real funds, on each live network. Every address links to its verified source on the network's own block explorer.

Prefer to read the whole contract? The full escrow source is published on GitHub.

How to verify Vaultion

1

Open the escrow contract for your network on the block explorer using the links above.

2

Check the “Contract” tab shows a verified source (the green check) — you are reading the real code, not a claim about it.

3

When you fund an escrow, confirm on the explorer that the balance sits in the contract address — not a Vaultion wallet.

4

For a Kleros escrow, confirm the arbitrator is its own separate on-chain contract, so the party ruling a dispute is not the party holding the funds.

Two dispute paths, honestly

Kleros (an Ethereum option)

On Ethereum you can choose this path, and disputes are then settled by Kleros, an independent decentralized court of randomly-drawn, staked jurors. No single party — including Vaultion — can control the outcome. This is the trustless path.

Vaultion-assisted (an Ethereum option, and every other network)

A human reviewer rules on the evidence. This is not decentralized — you are trusting Vaultion's reviewers. A separate freeze-only guardian can pause a ruling but can never redirect funds. On Solana there is no guardian and no freeze: a ruling is provisional for a correction window instead, during which the reviewer can correct it. On no network can a ruling or a correction send funds anywhere other than to the buyer or the seller. Honest about who you're trusting, by design.

What Vaultion is not

Not a bank, broker, custodian, or money transmitter — Vaultion never holds or can move your funds.

Not regulated or licensed — your protection comes from the open-source contract and the arbitrator, not from us.

No audit or regulation badges here — instead, the contract source is verified on-chain for anyone to read. Verify the code, not a logo.

Escrow secures the payment side of a deal — not the counterparty. Your own due diligence on the other person still matters.

Verified? Set one up.

Once you've checked the contract for yourself, creating an escrow takes a few steps. Funds stay locked in that same contract until the deal is done or a dispute is settled.
